I am God, and I change not!

Malachi 3:6

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever should believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). As believers, we are familiar with the previous scripture, but we overlook what everlasting truly means. We search to qualify for what Father God has already given. Suffice it to say Jesus is all we need, and everything else we can pray for is less than He.

Jesus, Our Righteousness!

See, any request to the Father in Jesus’ name is less than what God has already given. I mean, think about this for a moment: We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus through the blood of Him, Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). He is our Wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption from God (1 Corinthians 1:30).

Jesus, Our Wisdom! The Kingdom of God!

Jesus our Wisdom, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path (Proverbs 3:6). The Lord God gave Wisdom, which is Jesus, from His mouth come knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6). Wisdom is saying, “Don’t worry about what you will eat, drink or wear seek first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:31). I’ve been told that the kingdom of God is seeing and doing things God’s way. Well, if that were true, why did Jesus say, “My Kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36)” and “The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, believe the gospel (Mark 1:15).” God’s kingdom has nothing to do with our thinking and seeing things God’s way but seeing and looking to Jesus Christ!

This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!

Matthew 17:5

Hear Jesus!

Jesus is our righteousness, which means we can never be righteous apart from Him. No good works can qualify you for a righteous position. God spoke from heaven telling us to hear His Son Jesus, not Moses who gave the law or Elijah the prophet(s) (Matthew 17:2). The scene is God’s grace, Jesus talking to the law Moses and Elijah the prophet when Father God intervened, telling the disciples to give priority to Jesus, not the systems of the past, the law, prophets, or kings, but His Son in whom I am well pleased!

Study Jesus! See Jesus!

In the Book of Matthew Jesus, He is born king, the lion of Judah. In the Book of Mark, Jesus is a tireless servant, an ox. In the Book of Luke, Jesus is the face of a man, the Son of God, born of a virgin. In the Book of John, Jesus is an eagle, the Son of God; He was in the beginning with God. God loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Jesus will not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Beloved,

Invite Jesus into your heart, yield your way of life to Him, and repent of the past, that old system that was holding you in bondage (the law and the prophets).

He loves you and died for you!

In Him, we can experience life more abundantly (John 10:10), and He promises never to leave you (Hebrews 13:5-6). He, the Lord, is our helper.
