What Does the Word of God Say?

Erase All Confusion. Read God’s Word!

Key Scripture John 15 KJV

Whatever happens in life, God’s word has the answer, but reading God’s word is imperative. Yes, God placed some apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, and evangelists to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edification of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV). But they shouldn’t supersede your time with the Lord in His word. My first teacher of God’s word was Kenneth E. Hagin. He came to me in an unorthodox way, and he always said we must read the word of God for ourselves.

My First Holy Ghost Rendezvous

One morning, my alarm clock radio came on to a man talking about the Bible, specifically Jesus Christ. That man was Kenneth E. Hagin, and since I was already curious about that large Bible momma had on the coffee table in the living room, it seemed fitting to listen to this man. His conversation sparked my appetite for the things of God. That morning I turned into years of listening to him on the radio until he went home to be with the Lord.

Time With Jesus Always Edifies!

It’s been over 40 years since I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and nothing can substitute my time with Him, whether it’s early morning prayer or listening to a sermon where Jesus Christ is the focal point. No time is squandered when it’s spent talking or singing to Him! After many years of seeking Jesus, one thing doesn’t need to be explained. Time spent with Him shows that you don’t need to use words for what your presence illuminates.

Father God Doesn’t Take He Gives!

Recently, I came across an article by Kenneth E. Hagin titled, Recognizing the Source of Opposition, subtitled We Don’t Have to Let Satan Dominate Us IN THE HERE AND NOW. Kenneth E. Hagins’ teaching style was always simple to the point and easy to entreat. He was an excellent teacher, and reading the article reminded me of a few simple truths: Jesus and God are one! God isn’t sending a lousy time for Jesus to deliver us from; it is Satan who came to steal, kill, and destroy. Suffice it to say if it’s bad, it’s the devil; if it is good, then it’s Father God!

The Human Mind Cannot Solve Spiritual Problems!

The other point Kenneth E. Hagin made in the article was from (Ephesians 6:10) when the Apostle Paul says, “Be strong in the Lord.” Someone may say or think that means I am to be strong, putting all the responsibility on the believer’s mind. Not so, Child of God! The Bible doesn’t say anything about our being strong. This is where we miss it; we fall back into the natural to-do-it ourselves. The Bible doesn’t say, “Be strong in yourself.” No, the Bible says, “Be strong IN THE LORD, and the power of HIS MIGHT.”

Don’t know Jesus? He’s a prayer away!

Invite Him into your heart!

Pray,

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving and dying for me on the cross. I invite you into my heart. Your precious blood washes me clean of every sin. You are my Lord and Savior, now and forever. I believe that Father God raised You from the dead and that You are alive today at the right hand of God. Because of Your finished work, I am now a beloved child of God, and heaven is my home. Thank You for giving me eternal life and filling my heart with peace and joy!

Amen

Greetings, nice to meet you!
