What are You Identifying With?

Your Identity Determines Your Destiny!

Your identity is not determined by the temporary state of where you are but by whose you are. To receive Jesus Christ as Lord of your life is to identify with the eternal. Sin separated man from God, disconnecting him from the heavenly Father’s best. But God sent His only begotten Son that Whosoever (me and you) that belief on Him shall not perish, there is no annihilation in believing in the Son of God but everlasting life (John 3:16).

Your Identifying Controls Your Fate

You may be wondering, well, why am I experiencing loss? The question is, what are you believing? What is the critical part? It is the thing you identify with, and it’s controlling your destiny. When the child of God identifies with Father God and His Son Jesus Christ, they identify with God’s inheritance and purpose for their life (Ephesians 1:11).

See Jesus as Your Identity!

Identify with Jesus the Son of Father God whom He sent. Be convinced Father God loves you and His very best He has designated for your success. Your success is made by design; you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Skillfully made by Father God covered in your mother’s womb, precious are His thoughts for you (Psalm 139: 13-17). It takes faith to identify with God’s love for you and receive it as fact. Not belief in yourself, but confidence in the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross. Yes! Being children of God, we are to identify with all Jesus is and did for us!

Don’t Allow Your Ideas of Work to Be Your Identity!

For as many of the works of the law are under the curse (Galatians 3:10,13). To be under a works mentality is essentially operating under the curse and making light of the finished works of Jesus at the cross. But Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Curse is everyone who hangs on a tree”). Identify with the fact you have been redeemed from the curse of the law; it has no more power over you (Romans 6:14).

You are not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:16

Justified By Faith

God sees us, beloved, as righteous in Jesus Christ; for He (God) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (Jesus) 2 Corinthians 5:21. Identify with the righteousness of Christ Jesus! See, faith is the currency of heaven; God recognizes faith. Not our work! The one who does not work but believes in Him (Jesus), who justifies the ungodly (Romans 6:5), is accounted for righteousness!

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ!

Romans 10:17

Our identity in Christ is a matter of faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing; as a believer, we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The more we hear that fact, the more our faith grows, allowing us to embrace our position as Jesus is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Beholding the glory of the Lord, Jesus Christ, transforms us into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. There is liberty where the Spirit of the Lord is (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).

Beloved,

Identify with the fact that you have the mind of Christ-1 Corinthians 2:16

Identify with you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus-2 Corinthians 5:21

Identify with as He, Jesus is, so are you in this world-1 John 4:17

Identify with you are at the right hand of God-Ephesians 1:20

Identify with you are complete in Christ Jesus-Colossians 2:10

Identify with all the finished works of Jesus Christ at the cross-John 19:16-30

Every time you read the bible, identify with all God says about Jesus because He did it all for you!
