Test of Faith

When your faith is tested, have you ever noticed it seems as if God is silent? For every challenge that causes a question of belief, I’ve wondered if I have missed God. Praying is a two-way conversation. During these times, silence is not quiet but filled with questions.

Learned Testing Fundamentals

Testing in elementary school, the teacher would recite the words to be spelled. In junior high school, test-taking changed, instructions were given at the beginning, and the test was conducted in silence. In high school, test-taking became a timed event as well as done in quietness. College posed a new type of test, the least of my favorite kind of examination. The open book take-home test was an all-consuming activity. You couldn’t cheat with the take-home test. You had to do the work, bringing me to the faith test. Faith speaks by hearing and hearing!

The Righteousness of Faith Speaks

What does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth, and your heart.” If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For scriptures says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.” There is no distinction between Jew and Greek; one Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him, Romans 10:6-12. The righteousness of faith speaks that Jesus is Lord, and by believing in Him, we will not be humiliated.

Apostle Paul says faith comes by hearing!

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of Christ, Roman 10:17 EVS. Apostle Paul is saying keep listening to and giving attention to the Lord Jesus Christ; God raised Him from the dead, and whoever believes in Him will be saved and not be put to shame.

Faith the Currency of Heaven

Being tested draws upon the intestinal fortitude of the examined subject, except with faith, it has eternal weight and consequences. The currency of heaven and what God sees making us the righteous in Jesus. Remember, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness, Romans 4:3.

Righteous By Faith

Righteous Abraham, which is the father of us all, received the promise from God that he would be the heir of the world, Romans 4:13. Since we, beloved are of the seeds of Abraham, we are heirs of the world, and God wants us to reign in life through the one Jesus Christ, Romans 5:17.

Test of Faith

Is to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), for all the promises of God are still in effect, regardless of how things appear! Because you believe in Jesus, you will not be put to shame. Unfortunately, you can’t dictate the outcome, but trust God and keep looking to the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ (Hebrews 12:2). A test of faith is only designed to remind you to walk by faith and not by sight, beloved!

Keep hearing and hearing that the Lord Jesus Christ was raised from the dead for our offenses and was raised for our justification.

Romans 4:24

??May you reign in life, beloved!??
