Read The Bible Every Day!

Grow in Him Every Day in Every Way
Reading the Bible daily is sowing into your relationship with the Lord. Think about how you come to know anyone. By their words and ways, Father God is no different. Remember, He made man in His image. Get to know yourself!
“A Bible that’s falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t.”
-Charles Spurgeon
Spending time in the Bible cannot be compared to anything else. Social media cannot offer what God gives. He loves you, and He is omnipotent and omnipresent. He has unlimited power and is present in all places. Who else do we need to know?
Read God’s Word Every Day!
You could start with the proverbs of the day; today is July 16, Proverbs 16 opens with the preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue is from the Lord, KJV. Man always sees his way as right, based on the situation, but the Lord weighs the spirits. When we commit our ways/works to our heavenly Father, He will establish our thoughts. As we think in our heart, so are we, Proverbs 23:7. A man devises his way: but the Lord directs his steps, verse 9. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He will give you peace with your enemies.
Hear His Word Every Day!
At least one sermon daily will keep your consciousness aware of God’s things. That sermon must highlight God’s mercy and truth, the atonement provided for our iniquity, which is Jesus Christ, and the fact that we depart from evil by the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 16:6). The New Testament opens with the Gospel of Jesus. Jesus Christ is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30), and that is all we need for now and eternity.
