Personalize God’s Word

God wants you to reign!

What if you personalized God’s word when you read it? Take, for example, 1 Corinthians 6:19. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. He abides in me! To embrace the abiding factor Jesus talks about in John 15, He gives us an example; “As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself.” God isn’t expecting me, nor you, to put together the benefit of the enduring quality of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. 

Talk to Father God about Everything!

Suffice it to say Father God doesn’t need our help to provide for us; He knows what we need. He sent His only begotten Son without our asking; think about that momentarily! A friend once told me, “Grace, you don’t need to ask God what you shall eat for lunch!” I thought, why not? He knows everything! Why wouldn’t I inquire of Him that knows all things about everything? 

Christianity is a Relationship!

Fellowship with Father God is a relationship without etiquette, as it should be! He shed His blood for me. How intimate can we be with Him? I don’t know anyone who gave to their death! But one the Lord Jesus Christ, He died for me, and He knows my thoughts just as He knew those He interacted with before He was crucified. See Matthew 9:4, Jesus knowing their thoughts, said, wherefore think ye evil in your heart.

We are His; let’s act like it!

To say you love Jesus with all your heart, wouldn’t you have much to say to Him? Seeing as our hearts and thinking work together to create a harmonious cooperation for us to function and operate as one in Him? Seeing we are not our own, we were brought with a price; therefore, let’s glorify God in our body and spirit, which are God’s (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

The lifestyle the Father Has for His Children!

Personalize your walk with Father God; His word is for you and me to enter His destiny. He designed each one of us for a purpose. Remember, God chose us and appointed us that you should go and bear much fruit and that our fruit shall remain, that whatever we ask the Father in Jesus’ name He will give us (John 15:16) NIV. I appreciate the term whatever because it means without restrictions; ask the Father without limitations.
