Lesson From a Ten-Year-Old!

My daughters began to call my grandson a “Crybaby,” I told them to stop calling him a crybaby. So, they resorted to finding songs on their phones to mock him. The more I said to stop teasing him, the worse the situation became. Taunting me to each other asking, “Is this your mother?” As I hugged my grandson to console him.
This I pray over my Children & Grandchildren
That they increase in wisdom and stature and
in favor with God and man.
Luke 2:52
Today upon my grandsons’ arrival, I told him, “He is God’s anointed, and no matter what anyone says about you, you are not a crybaby!” last week, my daughter shared with me how an elder in the family called him a cry baby and a punk. But my grandson told them, “I ain’t no crybaby or punk.” Whatever is spoken over a child by an elder has the power of influence. It suffices to say that whatever the child is exposed to repeatedly becomes what they learn to behave.
God gives life to the dead and calls those things that do not exist as they did.
Romans 4:17
As my daughters continued teasing me about hugging my grandchildren, I said, “Ya’ll better stop teasing my grandson.” Then my oldest granddaughter said, “Nana, you can use my belt to whoop her behind as she has done me!” Laughingly the mocking and teasing continued till I got up chasing their mother, and my grandchildren rallied around me.
Vengeance is Mine, saith the Lord!
Immediately, I received a lesson about vengeance or tit for tat! My ten-year-old granddaughter felt her mother should receive compensation for being disciplined in the past. Sometimes ignorance has a way of making us victims when we’re participants. Is this how we see Father God’s correction when He uses others as a washpot?
Moab is My washpot!
Psalm 60:8
God uses people to minister to others. In Psalms 60, the Lord allows Moab, a cursed race of people, to teach, Deuteronomy 23:3. Although parenthood is not to be compared to being washed from a cursed position. Still, children are given to us to train them in the way they should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from them, Proverbs 22:6.
Jesus is the Way!

In an Unchanged Position in Jesus!
As a child of God, Jesus is the savior in our lives. We are in Him, as He Jesus is, so am I in this world, I John 4:17. All Jesus did at the cross He did for us, He shed His blood for us, everything He accomplished upon resurrection was for the believer, not Himself, His position before God never changed because of His journey on earth. He changed our world with His blood!
Only Perfect Judgment Can Render a Righteous Verdict!
Now because I am God’s child, He protects me even from myself, yea, though I walk through the valley, Psalm 23: 4. Notice God didn’t lead me there, I directed myself there, and when I go to places of my free-will, He is with me, but it doesn’t forgive me from the consequences of my making. Do I turn into my ten-year-old daughter upon being corrected or wronged? Wanting revenge, or do I trust Father God to handle the situation?Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. I shall repay only He can give a perfect judgment for a righteous conclusion, Deuteronomy 32:35.
Trust Him Only!
