What if you give God’s Word first place?

As I was conversing with a dear friend, the conversation turned to a deceased celebrity and their sexual preference. Just a thought! What if our conversations put God’s word first in every situation? Yes, it’s possible. Because of Jesus, we can do all things through Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:13). Whether it’s known in a public event or not, should we talk about the private affairs of others? Isn’t that gossiping?

God Has Given us Instructions in Conversations!

The things the sons of disobedience do in the privacy God has called shameful to even speak of (Ephesians 5:12). Has talking about others become a form of entertainment? God says to pray for all men (1 Timothy 2:1-2); that should be our practice. The conversation with my friend was about Luther Vandross, but recently, the Sheriff of Wayne County has been involved in another sexual harassment claim. Whether this man has done these things or not, only God knows. Recognizing one man was an entertainer; the other is an elected official who has possibly committed misdeeds at the taxpayer’s expense.

There is only One lawgiver and Judge!

Pray for other men, not run them down for entertainment!
