Invite father God in!
When you live life in a consciousness of who the Lord is! Circumstances aren’t scary. For every situation, the believer may experience the Bible has a parallel story to comfort. No matter whatever it is, it is just a part of your journey in life, and you’re not alone. Whether it’s barrenness or deceit that gives birth to a change in your life, God has a plan for you.
The deception of Jacob, deceiving his father, Issac, for the firstborn birthright (Gen. 27KJV) is one of the stories where I’ve thought that’s terrible! But the truth is whether deception is motivated by greed or fear; the result is the same. Jacob later received a harvest for his seed of fraud from his Uncle Laban (Gen. 29:25KJV); his desire to marry Laban’s daughter Rachel allowed him to keep Jacob around (Gen.29:18).
Nevertheless, while Jacob was on his way to his uncle’s place after stealing his brother’s birthright, he came to a particular place and spent a night where God gave him a dream the Bible says, I believe his night vision was given to him by God in that place. He dreamt of a ladder set up on the earth, and the top reached heaven and angels of God ascending and descending on it, and the Lord stood above it and said I am the Lord God of your father, Abraham and the God of Issac. God told him the land that you’re lying on is yours and your descendants. God said to Jacob I Am with you and I will keep you wherever you go, and I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of (Gen. 28: 12-15KJV) Jacob awoke from his sleep and acknowledged the Lord is in that place and he didn’t know it (Gen. 28:16KJV). Now this situation would seem the Lord wouldn’t help, hear or aid Jacob in any way, but not only did God said I am with you, but He also said I would be with your off-springs.
Regardless of Jacob’s deeds, God said to him I am with you! What a good and merciful God.
Jacob’s father, Issac, was a miracle God promised to his grandfather Abraham and grandmother Sarah (Gen. 17:15-17). The Bible says the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Gal. 3:14 KJV) by faith, we win!
To the New Testament believer, Father God says I will never leave thee or forsake thee (Heb. 13:5). Not to say we should practice deception to get what we want. But that we should trust that anything we ask of God is less then what He’s already done. God so loved that he gave, God sent Jesus to save the world not to condemn (John3:16-17KJV). The finished works of Jesus Christ at the cross (John 19:30KJV) that is the reconciliation through Jesus Christ that makes the New Covenant believer the righteousness of God in Him (2 Cor. 5:20-21). Love is a modifying quality God’s love for us and in us changes our hearts because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5 KJV) that love alters your heart we love Him because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).
