In 2023 Focus on Him!
What God has done, He is Still Doing!
It may seem all God has done for you is pass; that’s not true, beloved! What Jesus Christ has done for you, child of God, He is still doing! For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness dwell (Colossians 1:19).
The Fullness of Christ is love!
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He, Jesus is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Child of God, our boldness and faith is in Jesus, He is our mediator of a new covenant (Hebrews 12:24).
Man’s Idea of a Good Mediation
Some years ago, when I was an employee of a government entity, I paid union dues. The union represented its members based on contractual language. That had a renewal period of every 2 to 4 years. The agreement would be mediated and settled through the union representatives and the lead government officials assigned to contract negotiations. However, when the union and the appointed leadership couldn’t agree, they brought in an arbitrator that both sides agreed upon to resolve all disputes. But we, children of God! Have a blood covenant with Father God and His grace; Jesus represents us in the court of heaven.
For sin (the law) shall not have dominion over us: for
we are not under the law,
but under grace
Romans 6:14
God’s New is Better!
When God says, “New covenant and Jesus is the mediator and the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).” For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second (Hebrews 8:7). The first covenant required the blood of bulls and goats. It was only good as a yearly sacrifice (See Leviticus 16). The old covenant had an annual renewal clause. Similarly to union contract negotiations, contract terms change every two to four years. God wasn’t satisfied with the terms and conditions of the old covenant.
Old Covenant Weaknesses
Indeed, the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and an earthly sanctuary. But those who performed those services couldn’t perfect their consciousness; they were concerned with food and drinks, washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation. Man cannot perform the right or correct duties to bring himself to fullness, whether divine or earthly, thus is why we had a repeated process in all that was done, never reaching a consciousness of finish (Please see Hebrews 9). But Jesus has put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
Get it! Believe it! Christ Died For you!
Jesus Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His blood. He entered the Most Holy Place; get this! Christ entered once and for all for us to have eternal redemption; believe it! Christ shed His blood for us.
We are a new creation in Christ Jesus!
2 Corinthians 5:17
Jesus is Continuously cleansing the Believer!
Christ cleanses our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. We are cleansed by the washing of the water of the word that we may be sanctified. Jesus is our mediator of the new covenant, using death to redeem the transgressions under the old covenant so that those called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
The Believers Inheritance
Faith transforms. It is in Jesus Christ as a believer! The child of God is an heir of God and joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17); we have an inheritance, predestining, according to the purpose of Him, who works all things to the counsel of his will (Ephesians 1:11-12). By His counsel, God makes all things work together for the Believer’s good (Romans 8:28). God’s all is absolute; He makes all things work together for our good at its core. That is where our focus needs to be!
Beloved,
God loves you and will not stop loving you no matter what!
Say what His word says about you:
You are a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17),
we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16),
as Jesus is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17),
God makes all things work for your good (Romans 8:28).
Receive Jesus for all your needs and focus on Him!
For God’s Prosperity in 2023!
