God’s Frequency of Faith for You

Last week I asked what frequency were you operating on? Today I want to expand on the consciousness of the covenant God has provided through the finished works of Jesus Christ at the cross. He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For this reason, He is the mediator of the new covenant. Those called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance, Hebrews 9: 12, 15, and this inheritance is incorruptible and undefiled and doesn’t fade away, 1 Peter 1:4. Now, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life, John 3:16. If you are reading this, you are in this world, and you are whosoever, then you are called by God.

Keep and Listen to God’s Words

The Old Testament is an example of how God will prosper His people without the assistance of natural means. In the Book of 1 Samuel 13, King Saul, the first king of Israel, chooses for himself from the men of Israel. Notice the scriptures says, “King Saul chooses for himself.” This he did to ready himself battle against the Philistines. The Prophet Samuel instructed the king on God’s will for and when to go to battle. See, going to war was God’s command, not man’s desire.

But King Saul Heard God’s Creation

Saul, like us, heard the people and, acting in the place of the Prophet Samuel, offered peace and burnt offerings unto the Lord in preparation for battle. God commanded Saul to be commander over His people. Instead, he became controlled by the people. From a natural standpoint, Israel was at a disadvantage with no blacksmith among the Israelites, intentionally done by their enemies, the Philistines. No blacksmith’s meant no weapons! So, King Saul’s choice was fruitless; they had no weapons. King Saul was not led but coerced by fear of people’s opinion elected to please them instead of the Lord. This is an example of the present-day believer listening to social media without the Lord Jesus.

The entrance of His words gives light

God’s Uses the Uncommon

Bringing me to another point about Father God: In the Book of Judges 20, God used 700 left-handed foot soldiers to win a battle, but before that, twice the children of Israel were defeated by the tribe of Benjamin. God told them to go before He gave them victory the third time. We serve an uncommon God that wants to do the unusual in your life.

Just Because you Experience a Delay Doesn’t Mean Defeat

Listen and wait on the Lord. The Lord told them twice to go, and they experienced defeat. I can only imagine this was two brothers fighting; Benjamin is also a part of Israel. Was it to give the Benjaminite’s a false sense of security? At no point is it documented in scripture that the Benjamites sought the Lord. Was it all a matter of pride? All tribes lost thousands of brothers during the fiasco. But the victory was given to the ones that sought the Lord. Please take the time to read Judges 20; you’ll see it was an outrageous event that caused the uprising in the first place.

Unlike King Saul and the Children of Israel, we have a better covenant based on the finished works of Jesus Christ at the cross. Jesus did it all for us; He is ALL you need! Without the Lord Jesus Christ, we operate blindly in this life journey. He is the grace God has given us to win every battle.

God Loves you!
