God Made Your Heart

Your heart is too big to be filled by the things of this world. Although several social media platforms would have you believe that you would be fine if only you had more money, fame, or education. But if that were the case, every rich, educated, and famous person would be whole, lacking nothing. But we know that isn’t the case. Rich, famous, and educated people get sick, depressed, commit suicide, and get old like everybody else.

God made man for a relationship with Him. No other relationship brings man to fullness. We can spend our lives substituting the divine by pursuing the temporary. How we arrived at this state of diminished thinking was birthed by sin. Remember God would visit Adam In, the garden of Eden, in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8).

Think About That for a Moment: God visited Man!

Without God, man may experience a level of success, but that prosperity cannot be equal to what God has for them that love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9). Yes, we should have nice things, but they shouldn’t have us! A job or career is necessary to sustain you and your family. But, not at the cost of being all-encompassing; that is Father God’s position. The blessings of the Lord make you rich and add no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22). God wants His kids to experience life to the fullest; if that were not the case, He would’ve sent Jesus to tell us, He came that we may have life more abundantly (John 10:10 KJV).

God created the entire world and universe for us. And He is saying. I want to prosper you more than any man, and I want you to enjoy it! There is no sorrow or trouble with the success that God gives. The world cannot satisfy the divine appetite within man, with the temporary. Remember, man was created in the image of God. Yes, that image is tainted due to sin, but God’s attributes are still a part of man. Meaning man has a God shape void within him that only the Lord Jesus Christ can fill.

We Create Our World Like God by Speaking

Man speaks, and for better or worse, we have what we say! God created an entire world by speaking, and so do we! We mark our lives by the words of our mouth and the casual conversations that are laced with negative current events. We tell ourselves that the recent events are a reality we need to embrace. All the while, God is speaking to your heart about the eternal. But we can’t hear Him for the volume of your voice and the voices of those around us.

Give Father God a Chance

He’s saying, let me direct you on this journey. I see all things, and I know your heart and what will truly make you happy. Give me a chance; I won’t let you down! I know all about you, and I love you, and this is the relationship for you. No one will ever love you as much as He does.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
