God Knows Your Voice!
He Created You
Last week, I talked about God seeing you. Well, He not only sees you, He hears you. No, He doesn’t know your voice for many words, but because God made you in His image. Do we know what that means? Let’s take a moment to explore that reality!
In the Beginning!
God created man in His own image: both male and female!
Genesis 1:27
Recently, I’ve been reading Observation, a book by Russell Herman Conwell subtitled Every Man His Own University. As I’ve meditated on this reading along with the Bible, particular scriptures come to mind: one is the above scripture, and the other is teach a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).
In chapter 12, titled Instincts and Individuality of Observation by Russell Herman Conwell, he said, “When God sent us here, He packed us with all we need.” As a child, when I first became familiar with God and His creation of all things, I thought that man was made complete and that God had already given us everything we needed. Of course, I didn’t understand sin ramifications as a child, nor was church attendance a regular part of my life, but there was a Bible on the living room coffee table that I would sneak and read.
For You formed my inward parts; I am fearfully and wonderfully made!
Psalm 139:13-14
This book, Observation, has prompted me to meditate on God’s word about humanity’s uniqueness. We have no secrets from Him who created us. The Observation of one man is not the examination of all men. Conwell says, “Like all that emanates from God, individuality has been bestowed for a wise purpose; an indispensable endowment if we shall become the kind of man God seems to have had in mind when he sent us here.
But Remember:
For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable
Romans 11:29
When God created man and man sinned (Genesis 3:22-24). God sent man out of the Garden of Eden. God changed man’s location, but His reason for creating him and his purpose and design remained the same. Father God made each one of us on purpose for a reason. Our design is our purpose, and only He can teach you in the way, and that way is Jesus Christ, but He is the truth and life (John 14:6); trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Don’t know Jesus? He is a prayer away!
Pray,
Lord Jesus, thank you for loving and dying for me on the cross. Your precious blood washes me clean of every sin. You are my Lord and Savior, now and forever. I believe that Father God raised You from the dead and that You are alive today at the right hand of God. Because of Your finished work, I am now a beloved child of God, and heaven is my home. Thank You for giving me eternal life and filling my heart with peace and joy!
Amen
