God so loved that He gave!

Listening to a sermon today, it hit me! God so loved (insert your name here) that He gave. Right on the heels of that thought came hell wasn’t made for you! As I stopped and thanked the Lord, I remembered what Jesus said; the everlasting fire was prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). This is to say the eternal fire isn’t for man but for the fallen angels and their leader.

God so loved that He gave!

God sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). God’s idea is that man live forever, not in perpetual blaze and damnation. Sin! One man’s sin, Adam brought judgment on all men resulting in condemnation; even so, through one Man’s righteousness, Jesus brought the gift of righteousness to all men resulting in justification of life (Romans 5:18).

The Free Gift That Cancelled Hell for Man

God, through the death of His Son, reconciled the world to himself so that we shall be saved (Romans 5:10). We are so important to God that He gave His only Son! Meditate on that for a moment. We hear God so loved that He gave, but it isn’t given complete elucidation to the reality of Churchianity.

The Betrayal

God sent His Son, knowing He would be betrayed and deceived by those closest to him. One of the disciples took communion and heard the Father’s words spoken through the Son (Matthew 26:23-27). Jesus was betrayed by one disciple, denied by another, abandoned by the rest, lied about by the chief priest, and beaten and mocked by the soldiers (please see Matthew 26-27). All that He endured for (Place your name here) so that we might not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus’ Resurrection is For Us, beloved!

The eleven disciples met up with Jesus at the appointed mountain. Scripture says still some disciples doubted. Jesus didn’t need resurrection. The disciples needed the resurrection for apostleship. I can’t judge, but they witnessed Jesus on the cross and His death, and still, they had doubts. How patient is the Father with us! And Jesus still addressed them, knowing there were doubters among them.

Disciple:

A follower or student of a teacher, leader, or philosopher.

Note: a follower can nurse doubt while hearing the truth of heaven.

All Disciples Commissioned to Witness

Jesus didn’t return to the place of His crucifixion but to a mountain in Galilee. At that location, Jesus tells the disciples all authority has been given to Him in heaven and earth. Go and make disciples in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to observe all things He commanded them and assuring them He would always be with them to the end of the age (Matthew 28:16-20). The disciples were all promoted to a position of Sonship. No longer were they students and pupils of Jesus Christ; they were commissioned with all authority to make disciples.

We Are Commissioned by Faith to Prosper!

When we beloved receive the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross, we’ve died with Him (Romans 6:4-8), and we are raised with Him. We witness Him (Acts 22:15 and Acts 1:8). Seeing Jesus takes you away from hell and destruction and ushers you into prosperity, peace, and rest; this is what God created you for a relationship and life where He and His Son are central.

Beloved,

Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Let Him

order your steps and adopt His ways as yours. And experience

all He has for you! Long life and happiness and Sonship in Him!

As He, Jesus, is so are we!
