Franchise In Jesus Christ

Today the word franchise kept coming to my mind. I automatically think of the word franchise in terms of paying to use a company idea, like the welfare of sorts, somewhat derogatory, I know! It’s a business you never own, and you always work for someone else prospering their dreams. I was meditating on the word franchise and praying for God’s wisdom and understanding.  

Merriam-Webster defines the word franchise as freedom or immunity from burden or restriction vested in a person or group. This part of the definition began to speak to me. The term also includes the right or special privileges granted to an individual or group to market a company’s goods or services in a particular territory. The term Territory is a realm of influence; then I remembered from the prayer of Jabez in I Chronicles 4:10 he prayed that God, the God of Israel, would enlarge his territory. God granted his request. That likens to a franchise a request made knowing God is able. 

Then I remembered I John 4:17 as He is so are we (the believer) in this world. Then I was struck by the delight and awe that I am franchised in Jesus Christ! Every in Him scripture belongs to me! His position with the Father is mine by His blood and is backed by the throne of God. There is nothing more significant in Heaven or earth than the name of Jesus Christ, His blood, and God’s throne. That’s the group I belong to, and that’s the power I have. Jesus Christ is the person that I want to live His dreams. 

I am franchised in all that Jesus Christ is! I repeatedly benefit daily from the benefits of Jesus Christ; this franchise has an eternal value you can’t pay for it. There are no fees based on how much favor is poured into your life. Your access will never be revolted or denied for none payment for lack of acknowledging His grace, franchised in Christ Jesus pays you with long life and happiness!
