Great multitudes followed Him!

Matthew 12:15

The multitudes followed Jesus and were healed. Following Jesus is a lifestyle; we are members of Christ. Should we keep company with vain persons? We subscribe to those we follow on social media by hitting the subscription button to receive notifications of our interests. Following our Lord and Savior is no different. We yoke ourselves with our interests, and those attractions influence our behavior. Conduct has a way of becoming a standard.  

The Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him!

Isaiah 59:19

Jesus is the standard God has given to the New Testament believer. Let’s follow Him for light, truth, and abundant life (John 10:10 & 14:6). Jesus is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption from God. Following Jesus is living in the shadow of the Almighty!

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving and dying for me on the cross. Your precious blood washes me clean of every sin. You are my Lord and Savior, now and forever. I believe that Father God raised You from the dead and that You are alive today at the right hand of God. Because of Your finished work, I am now a beloved child of God, and heaven is my home. Thank You for giving me eternal life and filling my heart with peace and joy!
