Father God is Always Speaking!

Today, while listening to one of many of Joseph Prince’s messages, Psalm 101 kept coming up in my spirit; I stopped and read Psalm 101. I will sing of mercy and justice; To You, O Lord, I will sing praises! The fantastic thing about being in this relationship with Father God is that he knows all about me because He made me and knows what I need and when I need it!

The Preaching of the Word of God is for the Believer!

Ephesians 4:11-16

The message I was listening to coincided with a previous sermon from Sunday where Pastor Scott preached the same thing for different reasons. Father God used ministers at two locations to confirm his word at one time within me. 

Faith Comes by Hearing!

It is a habit for me to listen to the preaching of the gospel of grace. Listening is as to seeking as looking is to commit. Why? Jesus said, seek and ye shall find (Matthew 7:7). He also said, whoever looks on a woman to lust after her, he has committed adultery already in his heart (Matthew 5:28). Listening and looking are actively working to possess in the heart.      

Praising God gives Greater Revelation!

Pastor Scott said several times, I’m sensing, and God has said. Today, we praise Daddy God, knowing He has heard our petitions. In verse two of Psalm 101, David continued, I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I stopped and praised the Lord God. David was under the old covenant, and I am under the new covenant. This new covenant, Father God, is always with me (Hebrews 13:5); in verse two, David says I will walk within my house with a perfect heart! Under the new covenant, Jesus said that you shall be perfect under the new covenant, just as your Father in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). 

The Holy Spirit Convicts us of Righteousness!

John 16:8-13

Reading through Psalm 101, the Holy Spirit reminded me of my priceless position in Christ Jesus. All the things of the Old Testament aren’t my standard. I have a new rule (a new state of grace), a new covenant based on better promises. Father God sent Jesus for me to keep my eyes on and to cling to; in His truth is my protection! 

The Battles of My Life Are the Lord’s!

1 Samuel 17:47

Yet again, Father God confirms me with verse five: whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, Him I will destroy; The one with a haughty look and a proud heart, Him I will not endure. The lies talked about me in secrecy by those who don’t know Father God He shall correct or destroy; that’s His job, not mine!
