The full armor for bullet-proof faith is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Stand therefore having girded your waist with truth, (John 14:6) and that truth is Jesus: He is the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesian 6:14) for God made Him, Jesus, who knew no sin to be sin for us, the believer, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (II Corinthians 5:21).

All that Jesus is, is all we need!

Bullet-Proof Faith

Faith comes by hearing and hearing and not merely listening, I caution you to stay away from the thinking; I’ve heard it all before! For without faith, it is impossible to please God, Hebrews 11:6. Receiving everything and anything from God is by faith, not your ability to believe, but faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

My Father and I are One

Our natural minds cannot understand the words of Jesus. But by faith, we have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16). The mind of Christ! Imagine with me for a moment, the sense of Christ is the faculty of consciousness that, although He was heavenly-minded, He was moved by a love that escapes the intellect of a typical person.

God’s Love Cleanses

By faith, the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). You can never hear enough of the truth that by faith in Christ Jesus, you are cleansed. Cleansing is a transitive verb to describe constant washing. His blood is ever cleansing you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). See, God knows we need cleansing daily; just as we wash our bodies every day with soap and water, we should be bathing our minds by hearing and hearing the words of Christ (Romans 10:17).

Sins Requirements are Met

By faith, Jesus is the propitiation of our sins through His blood (Romans 3:25). He paid the cost of our sin debt. We have a righteous position before God, due to the finished works of Jesus Christ at the cross. By faith, we start at the finish line of the perfect one; Jesus said, “It is Finished (John 19:28-30).”

No More Curses Passing from Generation to Generation

When Jesus said, “It is finished.” Jesus knowing all things must be fulfilled, said, “I thirst.” Nearby was a vessel full of sour wine; the sour wine served as a meaning in Jesus finishing the works at the cross. In the Old Testament, sour grapes were used as a metaphor for a curse passed from one generation to another. The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge, Jeremiah 31:29-31.

When Jesus received the sour wine and said, “It is finished.” By faith, we are no longer subject to the sins of our parents. Jesus said, “It is finished,” never to be revisited. He paid the final cost. Jesus is a picture of perfect love; the finished works of Jesus Christ cover all man’s sins at the cross.
